AGREEMENT AND RELEASE
PARTIES
MY EVENTS PTY LTD (ACN 144 525 431) of 11 Harris Place Baulkham Hills in the State of New South Wales
('Company'); and
('Contestant and legal guardian if a minor]

BACKGROUND
The Company is exclusive Licensee of a certain unique method and format, together with a distinctive and valuable name, image and reputation, which amongst other things, makes up the Miss Country Girl Australia [MCGA] competition and the heats within will be called Events. Miss Country Girl Australia is owned absolutely by My Events Pty Ltd.
IT IS AGREED as follows:
1. CONTESTANT ENTRY
Event
The Contestant has applied to be a contestant in an Event for the Miss Country Girl Australia Competition and the Company has accepted the Contestant's application.
Event Procedures
The Contestant agrees to comply with and otherwise follow the rules and procedures notified to her by the Company, from time to time, relating to the Event and if applicable, subsequent events forming part of MCGA or reasonable requests by the Company relating to their participation in the MCGA.The Contestant warrants that she will be between the ages of 8-28 of the time of the preliminary event and is an Australian citizen OR Perminate Resident of Australia.
CONTESTANT AUTHORISATIONS
In consideration of being a Contestant in MCGA and to facilitate their exposure from the same, the Contestant expressly grants to the Company a licence for the right, and the right to sub-licence in perpetuity and worldwide (for payment of no royalties or other consideration to the Contestant):
Photographs and Image: the use for commercial purposes or promotion of any Event and/or any other event forming part of or associated with MCGA, the Contestant's image, name and likeness together with those photographs, videos or pictures of the Contestant (whether in the form of still or motion pictures and whether displayed in print or on the internet or otherwise) taken by or on behalf of the Company in connection with the Contestant's participation in an Event and/or any other event forming part of or associated with MCGA.
The contestant gives authorisation that her contact details will be added to the MCGA data base and will be contacted from time to time via email, phone, text message or post by MCGA or other related organisations with information and discounts.
Commentary: to make and/or publish commentary relating to the Contestant, the photos submitted of her or photos taken of her provided that all commentary is honest, relevant and in good taste.
2. LIABILITY AND RELEASE
The Contestant hereby expressly releases the Company, My Events and all of their associated entities and representatives from and against all loss of or damage to property of the Contestant and/or personal injury or death sustained by the Contestant, arising out of or as a consequence of the Contestant's participation in MCGA(whether by way of a Event, rehearsal, catwalk class or otherwise).
3. CONSULTANCY RESTRICTIONS
The Contestant shall not directly or indirectly at any time hereafter disclose any confidential information owned by or relating to the Company and/or MCGA that becomes known to the Contestant by reason of or as a result of her participation in MCGA.
4. MISCELLANEOUS
(a) This Agreement expresses and incorporates the entire agreement between the parties in relation to its subject-matter, and all the terms of that agreement, and supersedes and excludes any prior or collateral negotiation, understanding, communication, agreement, representation or warranty by or between the parties in relation to that subject-matter or any term of that agreement.
(b) Any provisions of this Agreement which is prohibited or unenforceable in any jurisdiction shall, as to that jurisdiction, be ineffective to the extent of that prohibition or unenforceability, without invalidating the remaining provisions of this Agreement or affecting the validity or enforceability of that provision in any other jurisdictions.
(c) This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New South Wales and both parties accept unconditionally the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of that State.
